One, remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Two, never give up work. Work gives you meaning and purpose and life is empty without it. Three, if you are lucky enough to find love, remember it is there and don’t throw it away ― Stephen Hawking

Davide is Firmware Engineer at Morpheos.

After graduating in Computer Engineering, Davide specializes in Engineering of Automation and Complex Systems Control, with an experimental thesis about Industrial Robotics at STMicroelectronics in Catania. In 2011, during the PhD in Systems Engineering, he conducts research on multi-sensor integration, he is external researcher at Västerås University and ABB (Sweden), and publishes “A Joint-Angle Estimation Method for Industrial Manipulators Using Inertial Sensors”.

Firmware & IoT

In 2014, after his PhD, he participates in the project RI.EL.EVO – Stand Alone Converter of CePTIT. At Synapses he develops tools for gas meter testing and manages indoor geo-location using Bluetooth technology. For Movia he manages computer vision for embedded systems and, in particular, develops the motion detection algorithm. He designs and implements the protocol and software features of a high-quality audio streaming. As a freelance professional, he develops innovative technologies, especially about the Internet of Things.

At Morpheos, Davide develops hardware and software prototypes with STMicroelectronics technology, the embedded software for DC motor movement, RGBW LEDs management (driver and communications protocol).
